Pumpkins & Squash
From sweet pie pumpkins to hearty winter squash, these plants are autumn magic in the making. Great for roasting, baking, and decorating, they store beautifully and bring rich flavor—and charm—to your seasonal harvest.
Gourds - Daisy
High-yielding, colorful, unique mix. A colorful mix in shades of green, orange, yellow, and white with a unique daisy pattern on the stem end of the fruit. Developed by Larry Eckler of Niles, MI. Performs best with 24" in-row spacing. Avg. weight: 5–8 oz.
Gourds - Gremlin
Large, colorful, warted collection. Gremlins are bright, bold, and crazy with warts. Small to medium-size (5–7"+) gourds with various solid and speckled vibrant colors, in a multitude of shapes: stars, wings, acorns, mushrooms, necks, and more. A complete stunner in our trials. Avg. weight: 1–1 1/4 lb.
Pumpkins - Pipsqueak
Tall tabletop pumpkin with wild handles. Conventional, treated seed. A productive, upright, small pumpkin with long, curling handles that are sure to get noticed on display. Unique in shape with vivid orange color and strong, dark green handles.
Pumpkins - Rouge Vif D'Etampes
The bright scarlet French pumpkin. Known as Rouge vif d'Etampes in France. "Rouge vif" means "vivid red." This is an attractive variety for fall display. Shaped flat, looking like a red cheese wheel, the fruits average 10–15 lb. The moderately sweet, orange flesh is excellent for pies. Also known as Cinderella.
Pumpkins - Spark
Uniform and flashy mini pumpkin. Flattened shape, wide moderate ribs, and yellow-orange skin with deep orange stripes. Fruits weigh approx. 1/2 lb. Similar in size and shape to Jill-Be-Little, the two make an attractive pair for tabletop display. Not recommended for eating. Medium vine plant habit.
Pumpkins - Shiver
Exclusive! A little white pumpkin with a great handle. Gleaming white, tabletop pumpkin with strong green handles that won't snap off. Cute blocky shape. Avg. weight: 1 1/2–2 1/2 lb. Compact habit allows for tighter spacing and higher yields.
Squash - Acorn
High-yielding classic acorn. Uniform fruit with rich, dark green skin. Strong powdery mildew tolerance. Semibush plants. Stores well for 2–3 months. Avg. yield: 6–8 fruits/plant. Avg. weight: 1 1/2–2 1/2 lb
Squash - Waltham Butternut
Still the benchmark for large butternuts. Larger fruits with small seed cavities and thick, straight, cylindrical necks. Flesh has smooth texture and sweet flavor, particularly after 2 months of storage. This 1970 All-America Selections Winner from Massachusetts is still deservedly the most widely grown, full-size OP butternut. Fruits avg. 9" long.
Squash - Honeynut
Popular mini butternut. This distinctive, dark tan butternut has a loyal following among customers, who often ask for it by name. Honeynut is later-maturing, so plant early to achieve best tan coloration. If stored green, fruits will eventually ripen to tan in storage.
Squash - Spaghetti, Angel Hair
Convenient and personal-sized. Our smallest spaghetti squash variety, perfect for single servings. Highly uniform, egg-shaped, with a slightly darker shell than other varieties. Sweet, nutty flavor. An excellent pasta alternative—bake or boil, fork out the flesh, and top the "spaghetti" with your favorite sauce. High-yielding plants.
