Fall U-Pick Bouquet Event
🍂 Fall U-Pick at the Farm 🍂
Celebrate the season with us at our Fall U-Pick event this Saturday, October 18th, from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM! The fields are bursting with color, and we’re opening them up for you to come wander, snip, and savor the beauty of autumn.
🌸 Cut-Your-Own Bouquets – For just $15, you’ll get clippers and a jar to stroll the rows and harvest your own fresh bouquet. Whether you’re drawn to soft pastels, bold jewel tones, or a mix of everything, this is your chance to hand-select and design something unique.
🎃 Pumpkins & Gourds – Nothing says fall like pumpkins and gourds! We’ll have a variety available for purchase at the event so you can take a little piece of the season home.
🌼 Arrange Your Way – After cutting your bouquet, you’ll have the option to arrange it into jars, pumpkins, or gourds for a festive centerpiece. We’ll provide supplies and inspiration—just bring your creativity! Extra costs will apply for jars, pumpkins or gourds.
Fall Garden Craft - An optional fall garden craft will be available - make your own bug hotel to help support the insects in your garden this winter! Use birdhouse gourds grown by June and Hillary to make a cute little nesting spot you can tuck in your garden this winter.
The Perfect Fall Outing – Whether you’re planning a sweet date, a family outing, or just want some time outside with the flowers, this event is a chance to slow down and soak up the crisp fall air. Snap photos, enjoy the farm atmosphere, and leave with something beautiful to brighten your home.
Directions to Little Gay Garden Flower Farm:
Little Gay Garden Farm is located behind Backman Elementary School. The easiest way to get here is to put the address 560 north 1500 west, Salt Lake City into your GPS. This will take you down a small side road by Backman Elementary school as if you were driving toward the back of the school. You will see a sign and a flag, directing you to turn left to behind the school, park on the blacktop near the playground.

Come to the farm to experience the joy of flower arranging for yourself! Cut your own bucket of flowers and create your own stunning flower arrangement.
Little Gay Plant Sale
Little Gay Garden is hosting our first annual Plant Sale!
We will be offering vegetable, flower and herb seedlings - all grown organically by the Little Gay Garden team! Come enjoy live music, snacks, gardening workshops and time with community.

Specific plants will be released soon - expect tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, squash, herbs, flowers and a few other fun things!
Little Gay Plant Sale Pre-Order
Get first dibs on this season’s plant babies! Our pre-order lets you reserve your favorite varieties before our full public sale. You’ll find a lovingly curated selection of veggie starts, herbs, flowers, tomatoes (cherry, slicer, paste, and more!), hot peppers, and pollinator-friendly blooms—grown right here at Little Gay Garden.
Pre-order will go live Thursday, May 9th at 8am with access to everything that will be available at the plant sale, we are also offering limited early pickup options to all who pre-order. Of course you’re welcome to join us at the Farm on May 17th and pick-up your pre-order then, but you will also be given the option to pick-up Thursday May 15th from 5-8pm or Friday May 16 from 10am-2pm. All pre-order plants will be fully hardened off and garden-ready—no need to baby them indoors. Check for an email following your purchase for pickup details.
Quantities are limited, so ordering early is the best way to make sure you get exactly what you want—and avoid any sad plant FOMO later. 🌱
Queer & Sober SLC presents Gardening 101
Join Queer & Sober SLC for a gardening 101 workshop with the team at Little Gay Garden!
This event will begin with a Gardening 101 discussion focused on garden planning, soil health, planting, fertilizing and everything else you need to know to have a successful summer garden in Utah, this discussion will be followed with a Q&A so bring your questions! Following our discussion we will have volunteer opportunities for those able to stay and participate, along with refreshments.
U-Pick Boo-quet Day!
Celebrate Fall at Little Gay Garden!
Join us at Little Gay Garden flower farm to welcome the beauty of fall and bid farewell to summer. Stroll through rows of flowers, hand-pick your own bouquet of fresh, colorful blooms, and embrace the changing seasons. This event will be open house style, from 4-7pm, come enjoy the afternoon and create a beautiful arrangement!
Queer & Sober South Bath and Floral Arranging
Join us on Saturday, August 31st at The Little Gay Garden, from 6-9 pm for a sound bath and flower arrangement workshop!
