Crunchy cucumbers, vibrant eggplants, tender beans, tangy rhubarb, and summer squash galore—our veggie starts are ready to fill your garden (and your plate) with homegrown goodness. Perfect for fresh meals, preserving, and showing off your green thumb!

Beans - Bush Beans
Earliest to market. Can be planted earlier than other beans because it tolerates cool soils. Compact plants are easy to grow and adaptable to diverse soil and climate conditions. Produces 5 1/2" fleshy, round pod green beans. Bush bean.

Beans - Three Color Beans
Exclusive! A delightful mix of green, yellow and purple bush beans. This mix of Provider, Royal Burgundy and Rocdor is perfect for the gardener with limited space. NOTE: Provider will mature first, followed by Rocdor, and then Royal Burgundy. Bush bean. USDA Certified Organic.

Cucumbers - Pickling
An old heirloom dating back to 1880. Vigorous vines give large yields of smooth green fruit. It is excellent for pickles; very crisp and good quality. A very popular variety at the turn of the 20th century.

Cucumbers - Beit Alpha
A delicious, very sweet cucumber that is usually picked small and does not need peeling, as the skin is very tender. This variety is very popular in the Mediterranean, having been developed in Israel at a kibbutz farm, and it is now becoming popular with Americans because of the fruit’s fine flavor and high yields. This cuke is also burpless and has great shelf life. A parthenocarpic variety, you can grow in a greenhouse without pollinators. 

Eggplant - Listada de Gandia
One of the most popular heirloom types, this one has 7-inch long fruit that is white with lovely bright purple stripes. It is so beautiful and has fabulous flavor with sweet, tender flesh. This excellent variety hails from Spain, a country that is renowned for fine food.

Eggplant - Ping Tung
A wonderful eggplant from Ping Tung, Taiwan. The purple fruit reach up to 14 inches long and 2 inches in diameter. This variety is so sweet and tender, superbly delicious! One of the best Chinese-type eggplants on the market.

Rhubarb - Victoria
While most gardeners prefer to grow Rhubarb as an annual, it can be grown perennially in some regions. Victoria Rhubarb, or Victoria's Rhubarb, is widely considered to be the best Rhubarb variety for cooking and baking, offering tall, tender and sweet stalks with gorgeous color!

Tomatillo - Grande Verde
Early green tomatillo. Early maturing, large, flat-round green fruits. Use in salsa or Mexican cooking.

Zucchini - Green Machine
Uniform, medium green with light flecking. Open plant habit with moderate spines. High yields of straight, 7–8" fruits. An excellent disease package keeps the plants healthy and producing for a full season harvest. Widely adapted. USDA Certified Organic.

Zucchini - Costata Romanesco
Traditional Italian heirloom with great flavor. This distinctive zucchini is medium gray-green, with pale green flecks and prominent ribs. Big, large-leafed, semi-vining plants with only about half the yield of hybrids, but much better flavor; clearly better textured, nutty, and delicious, raw or cooked. Also a good producer of heavy male blossoms for cooking.

Zucchini - Rampiconte
The famous Italian heirloom vining zucchini and pumpkin; long slender 15-inch fruit has a flat bulb at the bottom. It is one of the best eating summer squash: very tender, mild and sweet tasting. The flavor is superb! This squash is also great as winter squash. The Italians use it for stuffing in gnocchi and ravioli; the flesh is rich and flavorful, great for baking and pies! The vines produce good yields of this great all-purpose squash. The mature fruit grow very long. This one is in very high demand at specialty markets.

We love to create tasty dishes of all kinds, playing on the nutty sweet flavor and tender texture. Wonderfully productive and flavorsome!
